From little seeds strong trees grow
Seeds of Affinity was begun in 2006 by a group of South Australian women with lived prison experience.
The group was inspired to work together to challenge the ongoing stigmatisation faced by women leaving prison and to build a community where women felt a sense of belonging, solidarity and self worth.
The non profit organisation is well known for its skin care products and gourmet foods, which Seeds members make, pack and sell themselves, using the profits to fund further activities for women.
Seeds of Affinity also have a vegetable plot in a community garden and run many other activities for women as well as promotional events.
Our fundraising is used to help make the lives of women in prison a little better.
